Mark Andrews extends Ravens' lead

Early 4Q: Ravens 27, Vikings 13

That very well may be the game-defining drive for the Ravens. After allowing the Vikings to pull within six points, Baltimore ran the ball down Minnesota's throat before Lamar Jackson found a wide-open Mark Andrews for a 2-yard touchdown. Jackson followed that up by finding Rashod Bateman for the two-point conversion to put his team up by 14.

Tyler Shough showing out for Saints

Mid-4Q: Saints 17, Panthers 7

Tyler Shough's NFL career got off to a rough start last week against the Rams, but he's showing out in Carolina on Sunday. He's now completed 18 of his 26 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns after hitting tight end Juwan Johnson for a 30-yard score.

New Orleans (1-8) is now in great position to win its second win of the season, while playoff hopeful Carolina (5-4) is in danger of suffering a damaging defeat.

Late 3Q: Patriots 21, Buccaneers 16

Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield scrambled around to eventually hit wide receiver Tez Johnson in the right edge of the end zone for a 10-yard touchdown pass. Tampa Bay's two-point conversion attempt to get within three failed, so the score remains 21-16.

Bears force much-needed fumble

Mid-3Q: Giants 17, Bears 7

In danger of falling behind even further, the Bears punched the ball out from a running Jaxson Dart and recovered at their own 16-yard line. Now it's on a sloppy Chicago offense to make something happen.

Vikings' turnover issues continue | Ravens finally capitalize with TD

Mid-3Q: Ravens 19, Vikings 10

Self-inflicted wounds have ravaged the Vikings on Sunday. J.J. McCarthy has thrown two interceptions, and then Myles Price fumbled a kickoff immediately after the Ravens took their first lead of the game with a field goal. It was standout undrafted rookie Keondre Jackson who not only forced the fumble but recovered, setting his team up with great field position.

From there, Ravens progressed 23 yards on six plays -- including a nifty third-down pitch from Mark Andrews to Lamar Jackson out of the "tush push" formation -- and capped the drive with Justice Hill's one-yard touchdown.

JAXSON DART

Early 3Q: Giants 17, Bears 7

The Giants absolutely have something in Jaxson Dart. The first-round rookie keeps losing playmakers (Malik Nabers, Cam Skattebo) and just keeps on making plays. Make that two rushing touchdowns today (to go along with 205 yards passing) as the Giants are up double digits in Chicago.

INT No. 2 for J.J. McCarthy

Early 3Q: Vikings 10, Ravens 9

Maybe J.J. McCarthy should stop throwing the ball deep. He went for it all on third-and-inches from midfield. The problem? Justin Jefferson got tangled up with Marlon Humphrey and fell down. That allowed Humphrey to come down with the easy interception, and now the Ravens have a chance to take their first lead. Make that two interceptions for the second-year signal-caller today.

Patriots rookie RB TreVeyon Henderson explodes for 55-yard TD

Early 3Q: Patriots 21, Buccaneers 10

Rookie second-round pick running back TreVeyon Henderson scored his second career touchdown on his 55-yard sprint to the end zone on the second half's opening drive. Once he got into the opening field, there was no slowing him down.

Saints take rare lead into the half

HALF: Saints 10, Panthers 7

The Saints, currently holding the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, have a three-point lead over their division rivals at the break.

Rookie Tyler Shough (11-for-18, 194 yds, one TD) has shown some good things over the first two quarters, while Bryce Young has just 53 yards passing for a Panthers team that has won four of their past five games.

Ravens pull within one in low-scoring first half

HALF: Vikings 10, Ravens 9

With six points in the final 71 seconds, the Ravens are within one at the break. Aside from a 62-yard catch-and-run from Jalen Nailor -- which set up Aaron Jones' rushing score in the first quarter -- the story of the game has been the defenses.

Lamar Jackson is 11 of 16 for 102 yards, while J.J. McCarthy is 9 of 15 for 130 yards, nearly half of which came on the aforementioned pass to Nailor.

Both teams badly need a win, so expect the final two quarters to be high stakes.

Patriots take lead into halftime with clutch, Stefon Diggs toe tap TD

End of 2Q: Patriots 14, Buccaneers 10

The New England Patriots burned their first-and-goal play on a quarterback sneak in which quarterback Drake Maye purposely tried to NOT score. The next two plays were runs by rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson that got New England down to the one for fourth and goal. Maye then hit No. 1 receiver Stefon Diggs on a goal line fade for a one-yard, toe-tapping touchdown. The Patriots perfectly wound the clock down to end the half with a 14-10 lead.

Ravens still can't find the end zone

Late 2Q: Vikings 10, Ravens 6

One of the best offenses in the NFL still can't find the end zone. Despite getting inside the red zone after an interception, Derrick Henry carried the ball on third-and-short and was stuffed. Instead of going for it, the Ravens opted for a 28-yard field goal, cutting the lead to 10-6. The Vikings now have 1:11 to get a score before halftime.

Ravens first-round rookie starting to produce

Mid-2Q: Vikings 10, Ravens 3

It's been an uneven start for Malaki Starks, the Ravens' first-round pick in April, but the Georgia product is starting to show why Baltimore used premium draft capital on him. Make that back-to-back games with an interception for Starks, who undercut a J.J. McCarthy deep ball intended for Justin Jefferson and made the jumping, twisting pick.

Saints take first lead ... since Week 6!

Mid-2Q: Saints 10, Panthers 7

What's that? The Saints have a lead?? Incredibly, that hasn't happened in a month, when New Orleans scored a game-opening field goal in a 25-19 loss to the Patriots in Week 6.

On Sunday, Tyler Shough launched a go route down the right sideline, the Panthers cornerback fell down and Chris Olave had an easy catch-and-jog score from 62 yards out.

Washington's 72-yard punt return was also his third of his career, which stands alone as the most in Jacksonville history!

Early 2Q: Bears 7, Giants 7

No Cam Skattebo, no problem for Jaxson Dart, who faked a pitch on third-and-short and took it himself into the end zone from three yards out to tie the game. Darius Slayton set up the touchdown, hauling in two catches for 69 yards on the drive, including an INCREDIBLE one-handed snag.

Tagovailoa has completed six of his first seven passes for 80 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The ensuing extra point try went wide right, which is why the Dolphins lead is 13 instead of 14.

His 8-yard score put the Bears in front.

Tyler Shough ... the scrambler?

Late 1Q: Panthers 7, Saints 3

Saints rookie Tyler Shough is known as a pocket-passer, but he showed some impressive movement on a third-and-12, weaving in and out of Panthers pass-rushers before finding Juwan Johnson for a massive gain. New Orleans couldn't capitalize in the red zone, but the 52-yard catch from Johnson set up a field goal.
