We’ve had to think about it for a little bit, but we think we’re giving the points to Australia in that first session in Mackay.

After electing to bowl first, they took six wickets and conceded just 35 runs on the morning of day one and will head to lunch very pleased with that effort.

Mitchell Starc obviously the star, taking five.

Bangladesh 6-35 and in desperate need of a partnership to at least reach triple figures.

Skipper Pat Cummins has become the first Aussie not named Mitchell Starc to take a wicket this morning.

He’s clean bowled Mushfiqur Rahim with an absolute peach -- slightly fuller and it nipped back and took out the top of middle stump.

“That’s hit a dirty seam, and done enough to come back … that’s Pat Cummins’ signature ball,” Kerry O’Keeffe said in commentary for Fox Sports.

Replays later showed Cummins set him up with four balls outside off stump that Mushfiqur tried to push through cover, then a fifth was fuller and slightly straighter and that was all she wrote.

Mushfiqur soaked up 42 balls for only five runs, so survival isn’t impossible, but scoring runs looks tough. The Aussie bowlers have all been pretty on-point this morning.

What’s going on? It’s been over 20 minutes since the Aussies took a wicket?!

After that insane start to this Test, the two Bangladesh batters at the crease have started to dig in, but runs are certainly still hard to come by.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz are both starting to soak up some balls.

Beau Webster is into the attack now and the Aussies have burnt a review.

Mushfiqur pushes at the third ball and Webster goes up for a catch behind. He’s given not out and the Aussies review it, but snicko shows a line flatter than billiard table.
