Purdue (1-1) at Oregon State (2-1): How to Watch and Open Thread

Game day is finally here. We’ve gotten through the slog that was the week after the Notre Dame game with all the hand wringing, the questioning of the coach, the questioning of the AD, and really the questioning of almost anything and everything related to Purdue football. That’s in the past. In times like this I like to think of the speech that Rocky gives in Rocky Balboa, the actual best Rocky movie, when talking to his son.

Life is hard. Life is gonna hit you hard. I’m always gonna love Purdue football no matter what, no matter what happens. But until the team starts believing in themselves and playing like it, it’s gonna be hard to win games.

Surely, they can put up more of a fight tonight as they are on the road at Oregon State a founding member of the Pac 1 2.

Last Purdue Win: September 4th, 2021, 30-21

Last Notre Dame Win: October 21st, 1967, 22-14

This will just be the third meeting all time between these two teams and will be only the second time that Purdue has traveled to the state of Oregon to play a football game. You may recall that in 2009 Purdue traveled to Eugene and lost a nail biter. This game though is in Corvallis.
