Former Aston Villa defender set for Premier League transfer as Chelsea talks advanceAxel Disasi is expected to seal another Premier League transferAxel Disasi spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa (Image: Getty Images)Former Aston Villa defender Axel Disasi could be set for another Premier League move before the summer transfer window closes.Chelsea were looking to find a permanent solution to Disasi’s future this summer, having been informed he could leave the club last January.Villa signed the defender on loan at the beginning of February, and he went on to make 10 appearances, starting five Premier League matches.Disasi was deployed at centre-back and right-back under Unai Emery, who was instrumental in bringing the France international to the club for the second half of last season.Villa opted not to pursue a permanent deal for the 27-year-old once his loan spell ended, but he is still expected to play Premier League football next season.That’s because Bournemouth are now in advanced talks to sign Disasi, and Fabrizio Romano reports that the Cherries are confident of getting a deal over the line.What did you make of Disasi's time at Villa?
