Who Is Frances Tiafoe’s Girlfriend? Meet Ayan Broomfield

The No. 12 world-ranked tennis player Frances Tiafoe is dominating the courts at the 2026 U.S. Open, and he has a secret weapon.

His longtime girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield. The 29-year-old Canadian beauty is a former professional tennis player and has been with Tiafoe, 28, since they were teenagers in 2015, and the couple celebrated 11 years together on September 8, 2026.

Tiafoe has been very vocal about his girlfriend's support of his career and has credited Broomfield for his professional success.

"The key to a very successful man, I think it's a lot of things. But I think number one is a strong woman in your corner," Tiafoe told ATPTour.com in March 2026. "A lot of times, it'll just ground you… And I think a lot of times, when you don't have that because you're all over the map, they can be detail-oriented, they kind of paint the picture for you, help guide you to somewhere you're trying to go."

He continued, "Sometimes they believe in you more than you believe in yourself. And that's helped me a lot, so shout out to her."

Broomfield, who is now also a successful content creator, recently received backlash for comparing her workload as an influencer to his professional tennis career. However, it was clearly a joke, and if anyone understands the pressures of being a professional tennis player, it's Broomfield.

The UCLA graduate won the doubles event at the 2019 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship and has won two doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career.

"We can talk about tennis. I mean, I played tennis myself. So even just when we're seeing the draw, and we kind of look at certain players, sometimes I can act as a sounding board for matches," she said in Netflix's Break Point series. "I just feel like we just understand it and what it takes for someone to go and be able to compete at the highest level."
