Nigeria Depart for Morocco Ahead of Davis Cup Tie

Team Nigeria have departed the country for Morocco ahead of their Davis Cup World Group II tie against the hosts.

Players and officials of the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) left the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in the early hours of Monday, September 14, 2026, for Rabat, where the two-day tie will hold from September 19 to 20.

Nigeria will be seeking a place in the World Group II Tie Playoffs while also targeting their first-ever Davis Cup victory over Morocco.

The Nigerian contingent is expected to settle in Rabat and begin preparations ahead of the crucial encounter as both teams battle for progression in the competition.
