Seasoned Pakistan pacer Mohammad Abbas has levelled the legendary Imran Khan’s record of 13 ten-wicket hauls in First-Class cricket during the fifth round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

The pacer, who represents Lahore Blues, put up an extraordinary show taking six wickets for 39 runs in 22 overs, including 10 maidens, in the first innings. He didn’t show any lack of intensity in the second innings, where wrapped up four wickets taking his haul to 10 to 74. The feat puts him in elite company along with the World Cup winning captain Imran Khan. Wasim Akram (16) and Waqar Younis (14) still lead the all time-list for the most 10-wicket hauls in first-class cricket in Pakistan.
