Rashid Khan Wedding: Afghanistan Star Spinner Ties The Knot, Venue Video Goes Viral - WATCH

Rashid Khan, star Afghanistan spinner, got married on Thursday (October 3). The 26-year-old tied the knot in Kabul with video of the wedding venue surfacing and quickly going viral on social media. It is being learnt that the Gujarat Titans (GT) spinner followed the Pashtun customs for his marriage. Many of Rashid's national teammates attended his teammates with the pictures and videos which they shared immediately creating a buzz on the internet.

A viral video captures people roaming around while carrying guns, seemingly guarding Rashid's wedding venue.

Mohammad Nabi, the veteran Afghanistan all-rounder, also shared his post on X.

"Congratulations to the one and only King Khan, Rashid Khan, on your wedding! Wishing you a lifetime of love, happiness, and success ahead. @rashidkhan_19," Rashid's teammate and one of Afghanistan's biggest cricket heroes barring Rashid himself, Mohammad Nabi wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

As far as Rashid's cricket career is concerned, the spinner is one of the finest spinners in white-ball cricket and is currently ranked number 3 in the world but has even been the top-ranked bowled in T20Is. Rashid plies his trade in franchise leagues around the world including the IPL and the Big Bash League (BBL) and has been an asset for the franchises that he has played with. He is no mug with the bat either and has played several impactful cameos to change the tide of the match in his team's favour.
