Stylish Shubman Gill joins Anjali Sachin Tendulkar at Wimbledon 2026; fans ask, 'Where is Sara?'

Shubman Gill's first appearance in Wimbledon's Royal Box wasn't just another celebrity spotting. It was one of those rare moments where sport, fashion and social media gossip all came together.

Fresh from leading India on the cricket field, Gill traded his Test whites for impeccable tailoring as he took his seat at Centre Court alongside Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali Tendulkar. The setting couldn't have been more fitting. Wimbledon has always had a dress code without officially calling it one. Nobody tries too hard here. The best-dressed guests are usually the ones who keep things classic.

Gill got that balance just right.

He chose Ralph Lauren, a brand that's almost woven into Wimbledon's identity. Instead of a full suit, he mixed separates - a beige Prince of Wales check blazer with ivory pleated trousers and a pale blue shirt. It's a combination that's easy to get wrong, but the softer colours worked beautifully against the English summer.

Nothing about the outfit screamed for attention. That's exactly why it worked.

The navy tie with tiny embroidered crests felt like a nod to traditional British menswear, while the pocket square stopped the blazer from looking too serious. Even the fit deserved credit. The jacket wasn't skin-tight, the trousers had room to breathe and everything looked comfortable rather than overly styled.

Then your eyes naturally went to the accessories.

On his wrist was a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with the Tiffany blue dial, one of those watches that collectors instantly recognise. It's luxurious, no doubt, but it doesn't shout. Unless you're into watches, you'd probably miss it altogether.

His shoes, though, were impossible to ignore.

Gill wore Duke + Dexter's Wilde Kiss loafers, the British label's signature black-and-white pair that's become something of a favourite among stylish men. They added a bit of character to the outfit without making it feel loud. Most people would've reached for plain black loafers. Gill went for something with a little more personality, and it paid off.

The sunglasses were another nice touch. Small, understated and just enough to finish the look without trying to make them the centrepiece.

It all came together in a way that felt natural. Nothing looked borrowed. Nothing looked like it had been put together by a stylist chasing trends. It simply looked like Gill knew what suited him.

But as soon as photos from the Royal Box landed online, the conversation shifted.

Fans noticed that Gill was sitting with Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar. Almost immediately, another question started doing the rounds on social media.

Where was Sara Tendulkar?

Gill and Sara have been linked for years, despite never confirming that they were ever dating. Every now and then, a photograph, an Instagram like or a public appearance is enough to send fans into detective mode. Wimbledon was no different.

Some users wondered if the Royal Box appearance meant the rumours were true again. Others speculated that the two might have found their way back to each other. There was, of course, no evidence behind any of it. Sara wasn't part of the photographs, and neither she nor Gill has addressed the chatter.

Still, that didn't stop social media from building its own story.
