The second session started with the dismissal of Rishabh Pant on the first delivery. After that. Manav Suthar played a good hand along side Jurel. Jayasuriya finally broke the partnership, and Mohammed Siraj arrived into the crease. The Indian pacer played the perfect role helping Jurel move towards his hundred. But just as he was approaching his century and was on 95, rain came in and paused play.
